CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: Writers for profile pages for Thunnus orientalis (Pacific Bluefin Tuna), AsiaPacific-FishWatch

The Asian Fisheries Society project, AsiaPacific-FishWatch, is inviting applications from suitable qualified experts to draft six profile pages for Pacific Bluefin Tuna (Thunnus orientalis), namely the profile webpages for (1) Quick Facts, (2) Sustainability, (3) Production, (4) Supply Chains and Markets, (5) Environment and Climate, and (6) Biology.

The skipjack tuna pages serve as a model for the profile pages. These can be viewed at http://www.asiapacfish.org/index.php/species/item/5-skipjack-tuna. Style sheets are also available.

After drafting, each page will be sent to suitable peer reviewers, and the writers will be expected to make the necessary changes.

Applicants must be:

  • knowledgeable about Thunnus orientalis in the Pacific Ocean 
  • able to write in English to a high standard 
  • capable of delivering the draft by 31 August 2016 

Applicants may apply to write one or more of the profile pages. The successful applicants will be expected to provide copies of all references used.

The successful applicant(s) will be paid USD1,500 for each profile webpage.
