AFSSRN : Notice of Election and Call for Nominations

Dear AFSSRN Members,

This is to formally notify all AFSSRN members and officers that the next General Assembly (GA) of the Asian Fisheries Social Science Research Network, a section of the Asian Fisheries Society, will be held virtually on 6 November 2024. During the GA, the members of the AFSSRN Execom 2024-2027 shall elect the officers for the different positions in the Execom. The elected officers shall be confirmed by the General Assembly.

Nominations for AFSSRN members who shall serve in the AFSSRN Execom 2024-2027 are hereby invited. The AFSSRN Executive Committee is composed of 10 members and nine will be filled by election.

Nominations shall be made using the official AFSSRN nomination form, which is attached. The nominations shall be sent to the Nominations and Elections Committee by email at afssrn.section@gmail.com starting today, 10 August, 2024 until 7 September, 2024.
